New Delhi. The issue of the protest by wrestlers at Jantar Mantar led by Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik is once again gaining momentum. The President of the Wrestling Association of India, Sanjay Singh, has demanded from the central government that the entire protest of the wrestlers be investigated and a case of treason be filed against Vinesh, Bajrang and Sakshi. Sanjay Singh also raised questions about the protest of the players at Jantar Mantar and claimed that Congress was behind it.
Let us tell you that earlier, former Wrestling Association President and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has also blamed the Congress for the wrestlers’ agitation. Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have joined the Congress only yesterday. Congress has given Vinesh a ticket from Julana assembly seat. While Bajrang has been given a big responsibility as the working president of the All India Kisan Congress. After these two players joined the Congress, first Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and now the current Wrestling Association President Sanjay Singh have made serious allegations against them. According to the news of news channel Aaj Tak, Sanjay Singh said that Bhupendra Hooda and Deepender Hooda of Congress conspired in a planned manner and used the daughters and made them a pawn and made them protest.
Targeting Sakshi Malik also, Sanjay Singh said that whether she does politics or not, she has ruined wrestling. On the allegations of sexual harassment leveled by female wrestlers on Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, Wrestling Association President Sanjay said that if any other allegation was leveled on him, it could be considered true considering his image, but it is wrong to level such allegations on someone who raised his voice on the issue of women’s safety in his college days and from there his political career started.
