Due to the crowd of passengers going to Mahakumbh, the people angry at the alleged train at Madhubani railway station in Bihar broke the glasses of the air -conditioned (AC) compartment of the freedom fighter Express. Police gave this information.
According to a statement issued by Bihar Police, “On the evening of February 10, at Madhubani railway station, some passengers received information about breaking the glass of AC compartment of the freedom fighter express.”
The statement said that as soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the railway station where the station superintendent said that the freedom fighter came to Jayanagar to Prayagraj and stopped at Madhubani railway station. It said, “Due to the congestion of passengers in the train, the passengers sitting in an AC compartment were not opening the door, while some passengers on the platform had reservation in the same compartment. In the order of pushing and running, the glass of some compartment broke. Railway police is taking action in this context. ”
According to the statement, the train later left for its destination from Madhubani railway station. A video of the incident has become public in which despite the reservation, Pritam Kumar, a resident of Rajnagar, could not board the said train despite the reservation, “The train had a huge crowd of passengers from Jayanagar itself. On reaching this railway station, all the coaches of the train were closed from inside. No one opened the gate even after knocking on the bogie’s gate continuously. There was no security personnel present at the railway station who would open closed doors of coaches. When the train was signal, people became angry and started breaking the glass of the train. ‘
Another passenger said, “TTE and Railway Protection Force personnel were present inside the train but they did not open the gates of the compartment.” In the video, another passenger said, “Despite the reservation, Madhubani at Madhubani railway station After not being able to board the said train, when we went to ask for our money, the railway police lathi -charged, in which a child’s head was torn.
