Yellow alert of heavy rain in 11 states of the country
New Delhi: Monsoon has bid farewell to many states of the country, while monsoon is still active in some places. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rain for many states of South India and Northeast India for the next 24 hours. At the same time, the weather will remain dry in many other states including Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. There will be no significant change in the weather of Delhi in the coming days. The sky will be mostly clear and there is no chance of rain.

The weather department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Puducherry, Karaikal and coastal Karnataka. There is a possibility of scattered to moderate rain in Rayalaseema, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh today. IMD has said that till October 11, winds can blow at a speed of 35-45 km per hour.
Weather update for Delhi
For North-West, West, East and Central India, the Meteorological Department has not predicted any rain and the weather will be normal. The sky in Delhi will be partly cloudy and the day’s maximum temperature is likely to reach 35 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature of the day is likely to be 23 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon will soon bid farewell to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Whereas monsoon has departed from many parts of Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
Chances of torrential rain in the Northeast
The Meteorological Department says that this week there is a possibility of heavy rainfall at isolated places in the northeastern states, especially Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Strong winds can also blow here.

The Meteorological Department said that during October 8 to 11, wind speed of 35 km per hour to 45 km per hour over Maldives, Lakshadweep Comorin areas, many parts of south-east Arabian Sea, Kelong and Kerala, Karnataka coasts, Gulf of Mannar. There is a possibility of strong winds. Therefore, fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
