Yemen: Nimisha Priya's hanging stopped, such an Indian nurse got temporary relief

Kerala nurse Nimisha Priya’s death sentence has been stopped for the present. He is lodged in Yemen jail, whose control is in the hands of the Houthi rebels. The Government of India is making all efforts to save Nimisha. However, the ban on the hanging of Nimisha is temporary. In such a situation, there is still a danger on them.

Nimisha went to Yemen with her husband in 2012. After some time her husband came back to India and she stayed there. He opened the clinic with Talal Abdo Mahdi, a Yemeni citizen. However, a few days later, the estrangement increased between the two and according to Nimisha, her partner tried to misbehave physically and confiscated their passports. Nimisha is accused of poisoning her partner.

Nimisha is closed in Yemen since this allegation. A petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of his family. The family has demanded an intervention from the Government of India in this matter.

The government has also raised his hand in this matter. Yesterday, the Government of India counsel said that the government is taking all the necessary steps in the Nimisha case on its behalf. But unfortunately she can try to an extent .. India has no deep relationship with Yemen. There is no specific political influence in the government Yemen. The government has said that it is in touch with some Sheikh and influential people in this matter. Whatever steps will be taken, the government will take.

Nimisha Priya is also ready to give ‘blood money’ to the victim Yamani family. Actually, if someone is punished for hanging or death in Yemen, then he can only save the victim’s family by giving them ‘blood money’. This is a kind of compensation. However, the victim’s family has refused to take it.
