On International Yoga Day, Acharya Prashant, challenging the notion of the mainstream of Yoga as just the practice of healing, raised light on its intense and transformative roots in the Bhagavad Gita.
Addressing the people present there on the subject of ‘Yoga in the light of Bhagavad Gita’ at PVR-Iinox Osia in Goa on Saturday, he said that yoga is not a means of relief, but a call for revolution.
The event, jointly organized by ‘Prashant Advaita Foundation’ and PVR-Iinox, was broadcast simultaneously in more than 40 theaters across India from Mumbai and Gurgaon to Patna and Bhopal.
He said, “Yoga is about revolution. It starts from where your excuses end. You cannot live in yoga as you were. ”
Acharya Prashant, famous for his different interpretations of Vedantic scriptures, emphasized that ‘Gita’s sum’ is not physical but existing which is a lively feeling, not a regular routine.
He told, “Yoga is not a group of rugs. It is a state of balance. This is not a technique, it is to live the truth. ”
Acharya Prashant has written more than 160 books. He insisted that yoga is not an escapeism, but preparation – not to retreat from the world, but to face it.
They are credited with motivating the younger generation to re -connect with the ancient scriptures.
