Etah. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Shri Cement Plant set up at a cost of Rs 750 crore in Etah district on Thursday. He said that today the Modi government and the UP government of double engine have given a new identity to the country and the state with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.
Mafia’s stronghold has now become the center of investment
CM Yogi said that 8-9 years ago Etah was identified as a stronghold of crime and mafia. The land of the poor was occupied, they were not heard. When the property of the citizen is not safe, then what will the government do for his welfare? This was the situation then. But today Etah has become a new identity of excellent law and order and investment. He said that 1500 MW of electricity is being produced from Jawaharpur Thermal Power Plant at the government level and Sri Cement family has set up a new plant of Rs 750 crore next to it. This has provided direct employment to 500 people and more than 3000 people.
New employment and business opportunities
The Chief Minister said that this investment has given not only direct employment, but also thousands of people associated with Transport, Trade and Distribution Channels have got the opportunity to work. This is the foundation of self -reliant India, this is the foundation stone of developed India. CM Yogi recalled the Congress period and said that there was a time when the cement control was met. If there is access then a sack will be found, otherwise we had to buy secretly. It was difficult to build a house. This was the intention and policy of the Congress. How would development happen?
Story of India’s economy
CM Yogi said that India was the world’s number-1 economy in the 17th-18th century. Stayed at sixth position from 1947 to 1960, but the policies of Congress and Samajwadi Party took it to 11th place by 2014. He said that the Modi government gave the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” and today India is the fourth largest economy. It will be third in the next two years. India’s new glorious face will emerge in front of the world. Yogi said that when his government was formed in 2017, Uttar Pradesh was the seventh economy of the country. Today UP has become the second largest economy. This happened when action was taken on the power-nominated goons and mafia, strict steps against the rioters and confidence in investors.
Investment of 45 lakh crores, employment to 60 lakh youth
CM said that UP has so far attracted investment proposals of Rs 45 lakh crore, out of which 15 lakh crore have been launched on ground ground. This has given employment to 60 lakh youth so far. He said that recently 60,244 youths have been recruited in the police force, including youth of Etah. The job is being given on the basis of merit without discrimination, without seeing face. Besides, 70,000 youth have been given interest and guarantee free loan and margin money under Mukhyamantri Yuva Yojana so that they can establish their enterprises.
Traditional identity of Etah from ODOP
CM said that today Etah is not only identified by cement and power plant, but also with its traditional enterprise Jalesar’s bell and ghungroo. Both the worship of Devasthan and the music of music are incomplete without jalesar. CM Yogi said that PM Modi has set the target of developed India till 2047. In this episode, UP will also have to develop. The Assembly and the Legislative Council had a continuous debate for 24 hours, sector and themes were decided. Referring to Operation Sindoor
CM said that Shri Cement is not only industry, but also national responsibilities. The Etah unit alone has so far provided free cement to 183 martyred families. CM Yogi said that when the Indian soldiers brought the teeth of the enemies in Operation Sindoor with their valor and might, it was possible only when the whole country remained united. The contribution of Shri Cement strengthens this national spirit. He informed that after Bulandshahr and Etah, Shri Cement has set up a 40 MW green energy plant in Chitrakoot. The government has given them the facility of open access so that the electricity made there can be used here. The CM assured Shri Cement that the state government would fulfill all the promises made under its industrial policy on time. Etah will reach new heights of development with modern infrastructure, four-lane connectivity and public welfare schemes. CM Yogi observed cement plant, plantation in campus
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the entire plant before the inauguration of Shri Cement plant in Etah. During this, he also inquired about the machinery and its functioning in the plant.
