New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a strong reaction to the violence against the Waqf Amendment Act in West Bengal. Along with this, he has also targeted Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. Addressing the people at a program, Yogi said that, you will be watching Bengal is burning and the Chief Minister is silent. She calls the rioters a peace messenger, ‘Hey, where do you believe in the ghosts of the lats’. But in the name of secularism, these people have given an open exemption to riot. UP CM said that the entire Murshidabad has been burning for the last one week and the government there is silent. This type of chaos should be curbed.

Yogi’s statement has come at a time when violent demonstrations have been taking place at different places in West Bengal for the last few days. Violence erupted in South 24 Parganas yesterday when supporters of Indian Secular Front clashed with police in Bhanghar area. When the police tried to stop the protesters, they became furious and started vandalizing. Not only this, many vehicles were set on fire. During this time some policemen were also injured.
Earlier, there have been several incidents of violence in Murshidabad district, in which three people, including father and son, have lost their lives and many others have been injured. The protesters also damaged many public and private properties including railway stations. Many Hindus from Murshidabad have migrated due to fear. Many people have run away from their homes and took shelter in the surrounding relief camps. Central forces have been deployed in Murshidabad following the Calcutta High Court order.
