New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath today. After reaching there, while participating in a programme, he told the people that Yogi, our Hindu religion does not want the end of anyone. In our Hindu religion it is said that non-violence is supreme religion, but if violence has to be done to protect the nation and religion and to save innocent people, then it is acceptable as per religion. This was the call given by Swami Parmanand ji at the time of establishment of Bharat Seva Sangh.

UP CM said that great men of all religions have contributed to the welfare of the people. They all should be respected. If anyone uses derogatory language against a great man of any religion, then strict action should be taken against such person. However, Yogi said that protesting does not mean vandalism, arson and looting. This can never be acceptable. Yogi said, some sections consider it their birthright to comment against Hindu Gods and Goddesses. If they damage the fundamental principles and idols of Hindu religion, they will have to face legal action.
Earlier, in a meeting with officials in Lucknow, Yogi ordered strict vigilance in view of the festival. While giving instructions to ensure women’s safety, the Chief Minister said that foot patrolling and PRVs should be done in crowded areas. Patrolling of 112 should be intensified. All departments should work together to ensure the safety of women and daughters. The festival of Shardiya Navratri and Vijayadashami should be celebrated in an atmosphere of joy, peace and harmony. This will have to be ensured by the police of every district and every police station. Along with this, Yogi ordered the officials to identify those who spoil the environment and take strict action against them.
