Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh said that in schools where there are 50 or more students, three teachers will be compulsorily posted. The minister said, it is the intention of the government that every child can get good education. Let us tell you that recently in the UP government, such primary schools of the state had ordered a merger among themselves, which have fewer children. However, this decision was opposed by many parents in many places. Parents say that the distance of the school has increased due to merger, causing problems in delivering and bringing children back. Keeping this problem of parents and students in mind, the government has now amended its previous decision.
Significantly, the parents of Sitapur district of UP filed a petition in the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court in this regard, after which the court has recently stayed the merger of schools in Sitapur. The bench of Chief Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Jaspreet Singh gave this important order due to ignoring rules in the process of merger of schools.
