Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rizzu has made a big announcement for the Haj pilgrimage 2026. He informed that within a week the government will start accepting applications for the upcoming Haj pilgrimage. The minister has requested the passengers wishing to perform Haj and said that they should apply within the time limit.
Minority Minister Kiren Rijiju while talking to the media after the Haj review meeting said that all the applicants have been requested to fill the form for Haj 2026. With this, he has told that the process of Haj application will start from next week. He has also said that Haj applicants should apply within the time limit.
Kiren Rijiju said that we have started preparations related to the Haj pilgrimage to be held in 2026. We will open the Haj portal for registration of Hajis within the next one week. Haji who wants to go on Haj pilgrimage next year will have to complete the process of registration on time. The Saudi Arabia government has set a fixed timeline. According to that, we have to prepare for Haj pilgrimage in 2026. Travel agents will also have to complete the preparation of the journey under the scheduled timeline.
He said that Haj pilgrimage has been the best during 2025. During this time only 64 Hajis had fatty, while more than 200 Hajis had fatty last year. Haji travelers who are more than 65 years of age will be mandatory to have a company with them.
