New Delhi. Allegations of fake voting and irregularities in Sisamau during the by-elections on nine assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh have raised the political temperature. Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate Naseem Solanki accused the administration and BJP of intimidating Muslim voters and stopping them from voting. At the same time, BJP has hit back and accused SP of conspiring to conduct fake voting.
Serious allegations against SP candidate
SP candidate from Sisamau seat, Naseem Solanki, said that Muslim voters are being threatened and intimidated to stop them from voting. He alleged that the police have closed the roads, due to which his supporters are not able to go to vote. Solanki also claimed that many voters were beaten up.

BJP accused SP of fake voting
Countering SP’s allegations, BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi said that efforts are being made to conduct fake voting by calling outsiders in every assembly constituency. He has appealed to the Election Commission to ensure the identity of those who cast their votes. BJP demanded to check the identity of women who cast their votes wearing burqa, saying that if this is not done then the risk of fake voting may increase.
BJP wrote a letter to the Election Commission
BJP has written a letter to the Election Commission demanding that the identity of women going to vote wearing burqa should be checked. It was said in the letter that due to fear of defeat, SP is conspiring to conduct fake voting by calling outsiders. BJP alleged that voter identity card is being misused under the guise of burqa.
Tension increased on Kundarki seat also
The round of allegations and counter-allegations continues between SP and BJP in Kundarki seat of Moradabad. BJP candidate Ramveer Singh alleged that on the orders of SP MLAs, fake voting was being conducted in Kundarki by calling people from outside.

Akhilesh Yadav contacted the Election Commission
SP President Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to his supporters to cast their votes. He tweeted and said that those who were stopped from voting should go to the polling booth again. Akhilesh claimed that after the complaint of irregularities, the Election Commission has assured action and is keeping an eye on the situation.

Amidst all the allegations and controversies, the Election Commission has started an investigation into the complaints of irregularities. The administration has deployed additional forces to make the election process fair and transparent. The war of words between SP and BJP has heated up the atmosphere during the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh.
