Earlier, the electricity department had also registered a case against the SP MP under section 135 of electricity theft. The electricity department had earlier removed two old meters from the house of SP MP Zia Ur Rehman and sent them to the lab. There were no readings on both these meters for a long time. Apart from this, more than the permissible load was also detected on one meter. According to the information, there is one meter in the name of Zia Ur Rehman. Whereas, the second meter is in the name of his grandfather and former SP MP Shafiqur Rehman Burke. Shafiqur Rehman Burke has passed away.
The employees of the electricity department also alleged that when they reached Zia ur Rehman Burke’s house on Thursday morning to investigate, the SP MP’s father said in a threatening manner that when our government comes, they will take care. At present, Zia ur Rehman Burke’s troubles in the electricity theft case seem to be increasing continuously. Earlier, the district administration of Sambhal had issued a notice to Zia ur Rehman Burke in the house matter. This notice was sent to Zia ur Rehman in connection with the construction of a house without getting the map passed. Zia ur Rehman Burke has received 2 notices in the case of building a house without a map. In the first notice, a reply was sought within 15 days. On this, the SP MP had asked for one month’s time to reply.

Sambhal police had sent a notice to Zia ur Rehman Burke for questioning in the violence case. Zia ur Rehman Burke had then said that he was not in his senses on the day of the violence. However, now Zia ur Rehman Burke is in deep trouble due to a case of electricity theft being registered and violation of rules while constructing a house. If the administration is not satisfied with his reply, then bulldozer action can also be taken at the residence of the SP MP.
