New Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Vinod Chauhan in the Delhi Excise Policy case. According to an official, Chauhan is accused of transferring funds for the promotion of Aam Aadmi Party in Goa. Official sources gave this information on Friday. Chauhan is accused of transferring cash through alleged bribes given by ‘South Group’ to AAP’s election campaign for the Goa Assembly elections. This is the 18th arrest in this case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
It is noteworthy that a Delhi court has booked BRS leader K. On Friday, a response was sought from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on an application by Kavita. In which he has requested to present him in the court after the judicial custody ends on May 7. Special Judge Kaveri Baweja issued notice to the investigating agencies and directed them to file their reply by May 6, the day the court will hear arguments on Kavita’s application.
Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader Kavita’s lawyer Nitish Rana told the court in the application that she wants to appear before the court instead of appearing through video conference from Tihar Central Jail. On April 23, the court had directed the jail authorities to produce Kavita digitally after her judicial custody ends. On March 15, the ED had arrested Kavita (46), daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, from her residence in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The CBI had arrested her on April 11 from Tihar Jail, where she was lodged in a money laundering case registered by the ED. His judicial custody in both the cases will end on May 7.

The Supreme Court has asked both the parties to come prepared for the debate on the interim bail of Arvind Kejriwal. The court said that it is not saying anything on whether we will grant bail or not. If bail is granted, what could be the conditions, all parties have to answer about this. The Supreme Court said that we will hear on Tuesday at 10.30 am. The court said that if this case continues for a long time then we will consider interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal for election campaign.
