You must have seen many leaders contesting elections with the help of money power and muscle power, but there are some names who are hitting the electoral rhythm in the sixth phase even in the absence of it. We are going to tell you about 10 such candidates, who do not have money and property to contest elections, but definitely have the courage.
Some of them have only 500 rupees, while some have 6,600 rupees. The poorest candidates do not even have their own house to live in. Know what are their names and from where they are contesting elections?
1. Deepak Srivastava : Deepak Srivastava, who is contesting from Siswa seat of Maharajganj at number one in the list of poor candidates, is in the fray on Aam Janata Party ticket. Deepak is in the fray with just Rs 500. They neither have their own house nor any land.
2. Simeon Prakash: Independent candidate Shimon is second in the list of poor candidates from Belthara Road seat of Ballia. Simeon has assets worth only Rs 6,600. Simeon has neither house nor land in his name.
3. Narsingh Pal : Nar Singh Pal, the candidate of Aam Janata Party from Rudrapur seat of Deoria, has total assets of 10 thousand rupees. Narasimha also does not have any house or land in his name.
4. Phanendra : Phanendra, who is contesting from the Hata seat of Kushinagar, also has a total property of 10 thousand rupees. Phanendra is at number four in the list of poor candidates.
5. Shravan Kumar : Shravan Kumar, who is contesting from Harraiya seat of Basti, is the fifth poorest candidate. Shravan is contesting as an independent candidate. Shravan has total assets worth Rs 11 thousand.
6. Poonam Rani: Independent candidate Poonam Rani is at number six in the list of poor candidates from Khadda seat of Kushinagar. Poonam has total assets of 12 thousand rupees.
7. Hridayram: Candidate from Kaptanganj seat of Basti, Hriday Ram is in the fray on Bahujan Mukti Party ticket. Hridayram has total assets worth Rs.14 thousand.
8. Mannu : Mannu, the Naitik Party candidate from Ballia’s Phephna seat, is at number eight in the list of poor candidates. Mannu has total assets of Rs 14,100.
9. Vishnu Prabhakar Mishra: Independent candidate Vishnu Prabhakar Mishra from Tamkuhi Raj seat of Kushinagar has assets worth Rs 15,000.
10. Ashutosh : Ashutosh, the candidate from Farenda seat of Maharajganj, is at number ten in the list of poor candidates. Ashutosh has total assets of 16 thousand 500 rupees.
How many millionaire candidates?
Out of 676 candidates contesting in the sixth phase, 253 candidates are financially well off. They have assets of one crore or more. 94% of the Samajwadi Party candidates fall under the purview of crorepatis. The BJP has 81% at number two and 77% of Bahujan Samaj Party candidates are crorepatis at number three. 46% of Congress candidates and 28% of Aam Aadmi Party candidates are crorepatis.
