President’s Police Medal: On the occasion of 78th Independence Day, 114 brave soldiers of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been selected for President Police Medal. It has been announced that 51 members of the security force will be awarded President Police Medal for Gallantry, 6 officers-soldiers will be awarded President Police Medal for Distinguished Service and 57 brave soldiers will be awarded President Police Medal for Commendable Service. Sub Inspector Roshan Kumar will be awarded President Police Medal for Gallantry posthumously.
