Kotputli-Bahrod, Bansur. A simple but sensitive program was organized under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Saathi Yojana at Bansur Agricultural Produce Market campus on Wednesday, which provided relief to the families of farmers who crashed in farming and agricultural markets. MLA Devisingh Shekhawat, the chief guest of the program, distributed checks of a total amount of Rs 12.90 lakh to 13 beneficiaries under the scheme.
On this occasion, MLA Shekhawat said that agriculture is a risky work, and the central and state governments are running many schemes for the safety and prosperity of farmers. The Chief Minister Krishak Saathi Yojana is also part of this thinking, which gives financial support to the families of the people who lose life in accidents or seriously injured farmers.
He informed that under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to those farmers or workers who fall victim to an accident while working in the field or in the agricultural market. He also informed the farmers present on the occasion about various farmer friendly schemes run by the Central and State Government and instructed the market secretary that the problems of the farmers should be resolved quickly.
MLA Shekhawat also said that the scope and influence of this scheme will be increased in the coming time so that all possible help can be provided to the needy farmer families. He appealed to the mandi administration to send information about the insurance scheme to every farmer so that the family can get financial security in the event of any untoward.
During this, SDM Anurag Harit, Mandi President Raju, Mahavir Balasia, Mandi Secretary Ashish Yadav, members of the Board of Trade and a large number of farmers were present in the program.
At the end of the program, the MLA also interacted with the farmers and heard their problems. He assured that the government is with every farmer and is committed to make his life safe and prosperous.
