Charai Devu Madam was mentioned

While talking about Paris Olympics, PM Modi talked about supporting the players of India. Along with this, he also gave the slogan of Cheer for India. Along with this, while mentioning International Mathematics Olympiad, he talked to the students associated with it on phone and also got to know their experiences. While mentioning Charai Dev Maidam, PM Modi said that Charai Dev Maidam of Assam is being included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. He told that this will be the first site of North-East. While telling its specialty, he told its meaning. He told that Charai Dev Maidam means Significant City on the Hills. It was the capital of the Ahom kingdom. This empire which started in the 13th century lasted till the 19th century, this is a big thing. He appealed to the people that you must include this site in your travel list in future.

Appeal to join Project Pari

PM Modi also mentioned Project Pari. Talking about Project Pari, he said that it means ‘Public Art of India’. Project Pari is trying to bring emerging artists of public art on one platform. Referring to Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, he said that public art from all over the country can be seen here. Referring to the women of Rohtak in Haryana, he said that they decided to join the Unnati Self Help Group and now these women are earning lakhs of rupees. Referring to Khadi, PM Modi said that there would be many people who would not be using Khadi but today they are wearing Khadi with pride. For the first time, the business of Khadi has crossed Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Khadi sales have increased by 400 percent. Women are benefiting the most from this. He said that if you have not bought Khadi clothes till now, then start it from this year itself.

Take the help of ‘Manas’ to get rid of drugs

Talking about the challenge of drugs, he said that it is a concern for every family. For this, the government has opened a special center named Manas. Manas’ helpline and portal have been started a few days ago. He said that anyone can get necessary advice or information by calling 1933. If there is any other information, then that too can be shared by calling on this number. Every information shared on this is kept confidential.

Protect tigers on Tiger Day

PM Modi said that Tiger Day will be celebrated across the world tomorrow. It has been an integral part of our culture. We have all heard stories related to tigers in tales and stories. There are many villages in our country where there is no conflict between man and tiger, but where such a situation arises, efforts are being made for the conservation of tigers. Kulhadi Band Panchayat is a part of this. This campaign started from Ranthambore is interesting. The local people themselves have pledged that they will not cut the forest, this is creating a better environment for the tigers. Such efforts are being made across the country. Public participation is very useful in the conservation of tigers. Due to this, the population of tigers is increasing every year. The forest area in our country is also increasing rapidly. People from all over the country are joining under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam program.
