Here, a 23-year-old youth posing as an inspector was doing illegal recovery work in the name of checking by stopping the vehicles.
Police caught on secret basis
Giving information about the matter, the police said that the youth, who is making illegal recovery by becoming an inspector, is a resident of Ghaziabad. He used to reach the highway wearing the uniform of an inspector in the dark of night and used to collect money from people in the name of checking by stopping the vehicles. Meanwhile, the police had received information from the informer that illegal recovery was being made by an inspector at Jaraulikala Mor of Tundla’s Raja Tal Chowki. Based on this information, the police arrested a fake inspector named Mukesh Yadav. During interrogation, the young man has also told that his weight is 180 kg.
Fake inspector made to avoid toll
When the police arrested the accused youth, he told during interrogation that he had got a fake ID card made to save toll. Then it became his addiction and he started extorting by becoming a fake inspector. At present the accused is in the custody of the police. On the whole matter, CO Harimohan Singh said that an ATM card, PAN card, fake ID card of the police along with a vehicle have been recovered from the accused.
