A sensational incident of robbery and assault has come to light with the owner of a food -making factory on Sunday morning in the Vijay Mandir police station area of Alwar. Four miscreants looted Rs 3.83 lakh cash, gold ring and mobile phone from Kamal Lalwani, a resident of Khairthal at the knife.
According to the information received, the factory of Kamal Lalwani’s food product is located in the MIA area. He left Khairthal for Alwar at around 8 am on Sunday morning. At around nine o’clock in the night, when he landed to urinate at the drain turn of Vijay Mandir police station area, four youths riding on two motorcycles attacked him and tried to break the glass of his car. When the front glass was not broken, he broke the glass of the side and took out Rs 3.83 lakh kept in the dashboard. The miscreants attacked Kamal with a knife and wounded his shoulder and hand and hit the leg with a stone, causing the foot to burst the foot. He told that the miscreants also looted the money, mobile phone and gold ring kept in my pocket and escaped.
After the incident, the injured Kamal himself reached the police station, from where he was immediately sent to the hospital. His brother Girish Kumar has lodged an FIR at the Vijay Mandir police station. SHO Brijesh Tanwar said that his statement could not be recorded due to Kamal’s injuries. The police have started investigating the case and CCTV footage in the vicinity is being investigated. Action will be taken soon after identifying the robbers.
