New Delhi. The dates for the assembly elections in Haryana have been announced. At the same time, the exercise of leaders leaving the party before the elections has also started. Three MLAs of Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janata Party resigned from the party today. Those who resigned include Devendra Singh Babli, Ramkaran Kala and Ishwar Singh. Earlier, Uklana MLA Anoop Dhanak had resigned from the party yesterday. Anoop is considered very close to the Dushyant Chautala family, Anoop was also included in the cabinet in the BJP-JJP coalition government. It is believed that these four MLAs may soon join another party.
MLA Ishwar Singh, who resigned today, said that I am unable to discharge the responsibilities of Jannayak Janata Party due to personal reasons. For this reason, I am resigning from all the posts and responsibilities of JJP. Addressing the party president, Singh said, I request you to accept my resignation regarding the primary membership of the party and other responsibilities. Let us tell you that voting for 90 assembly seats in Haryana will be held in a single phase on October 1. The election results will be announced on October 4.

According to the Election Commission, there are a total of 2.01 crore voters in this assembly election in Haryana, out of which 1.06 crore are men, 0.95 crore are women. 4.52 lakh voters will vote for the first time in this election. There are 40.95 lakh young voters here. The voter list of Haryana will be published on 27 August 2024. The notification for the assembly elections will be issued on September 5 while nominations will be filed by September 12. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be done on September 13 and the last date for withdrawal of nomination will be September 16.
