Appointments on 24 thousand posts to strengthen medical and health services, 26 thousand under process
Jaipur. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that health services are continuously expanding under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Strengthening medical facilities in Rajasthan is in the priorities of the Union Government and Ministry of Health. Notable works are being done in the state under the guidance of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, from which the concept of ‘Niramay Rajasthan’ has started to come true. Successful results of timely decisions in human service by Mr. Sharma are beginning to show.
Nadda was addressing a review meeting of Medical and Health Department at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday. He appreciated the progress of the schemes of the Central and State Government in Rajasthan. Nadda said that medical work is an important medium of human service. In these, departmental officers, doctors and all personnel should fulfill their great responsibility with full enthusiasm. He assured that at the ministry level, all subjects related to the state will be resolved soon.
The Union Health and Family Welfare Minister instructed departmental officers to give special attention to regular review of the schemes, to make students aware of diseases, cancer treatment etc. He said that the Ministry of Health has set up a Public Private Partnership (PPP) sale. Here the state government should send proposals for medical and health expansion, which will be implemented after studying at the ministry level. He said that schemes related to eye disease are being run by the Ministry, which the state government should carry forward in public interest.
Nadda said that Prime Minister Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission should use the budget properly so that patients can get better treatment. Public awareness should also be spread towards non -communicable disease in the state. He gave detailed reviews of various subjects including National Health Mission, PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, Progress allocated from the 15th Finance Commission, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, National Decay Eradication Program, Health Insurance Scheme, Progress of Centrally promoted schemes. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma thanked the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare for cooperation in medical services and medical education. He said that to make the goal of healthy Rajasthan, important schemes of the Central and State Government are being reviewed continuously. Mr. Sharma said that Rajasthan has secured a leading position in the country in Janani Suraksha Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Matri Vandana Yojana. Also, Niramay Rajasthan campaign has been started on World Health Day. He said that under Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, cashless treatment of up to Rs 25 lakh is being provided to 1 crore 34 lakh families. At the same time, Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Health Infrastructure Mission is being started and various construction works of 15 thousand crore rupees are being done. He said that 11 thousand 655 medical institutions have been converted into Ayushman Arogya Temple.
Sharma said that to strengthen the medical and health department, more than 24 thousand posts were recruited in a year. Also, recruitment on about 26 thousand posts is under process. He said that 3 thousand 355 panchayats in the state have become TB free. By implementing the Ma-Voucher scheme for maternal and child health, free facility of sonography is being provided in the state area in the villages and towns. So far, more than 6 crore 23 lakh aura IDs have been made in the state.
In the meeting, senior officials of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare also appreciated the progress of the state government in the medical field. Mrs. Gayatri A. Rathore, Principal Government Secretary, Medical and Health Department and Shri Ambarish Kumar, Government Secretary, Department of Medical Education informed about the progress of departmental schemes. Medical and Health Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khivansar, Chief Secretary and senior officials of Medical and Health Department were present on the occasion.
