Islamabad. The World Bank has said that 34 percent of the population of Pakistan is living on an income of only $ 3.2 or Rs 588 in Pakistan currency. This has been said in a report of Express Tribune. A report by Pakistan Development Update also said that rising inflation has badly affected poor and vulnerable households, who spend a major part of their budgets on food and energy.
The World Bank said that the poor spend about 50 percent of their income on food. It will be extremely difficult for the new government to strengthen the economic condition of the country.
