Siraj Siddiqui, an Ayurvedic doctor from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, told Local 18 that the scientific name of mango is Mangifera Indica. Vitamin A, Vitamin C, E and many types of Vitamin B are found in abundance in mango leaves and it works as a multivitamin packet.
It contains anti-oxidants like flavonoids and phenols. It also contains sodium, calcium, iron, zinc, potassium and phosphorus in abundance. Many researches have found that it has anti-tumor properties. It eliminates all types of infections. Mango leaf tea is also very beneficial for people who have diabetes. People who have high blood pressure problems will also benefit if they consume it regularly in the right quantity.
Apart from this, for asthma patients who have trouble breathing, tea made from mango leaves is considered nectar. If people who have stones in their stomach drink tea made from mango leaves, their stones break and come out. If people who have a lot of hiccups consume it, then the hiccups will stop.
It is used in weight loss program
Dr. Siraj Siddiqui says that mango leaf tea is a panacea for those who are worried about their increasing weight. He said that it is used in weight loss programs. It is used in the Omelet diet. In this, the person is given food once a day while the rest of the time he is given mango leaf water.
