New Delhi. In UP’s capital Lucknow, four thugs who were roaming around in the guise of sadhus with sandalwood on their foreheads were caught by the local people and beaten with slippers. People say that these four thugs dressed as sadhus cheat people by luring them in the name of religion. After beating these four thugs, people handed them over to the police. This case is from Lucknow’s Gosai Ganj police station area. The police have registered a case and are investigating their criminal record. The video of the four thugs being beaten is also going viral on social media. In this video, it can be seen how the local people are beating the thugs with slippers and kicks and punches.
Investigation by Lucknow police revealed-
These are not sadhus, they are snake charmers. But now they are not even that. They just hypnotize people and cheat. The four youths are Amit, Akash, Sagar and Akshay. They are residents of Meerut. They have been arrested and a case is being registered against them.

Giving information on this entire matter, Lucknow’s DCP South, Tej Swaroop Singh said that four people who cheated and deceived people in the guise of sadhus in Gangakheda village of Gosai Ganj police station area have been arrested. The names of the four arrested fraudsters are Amit, Akash, Sagar and Akshay, all of them are around 20 to 25 years of age. These four fraudsters are residents of Asifabad, Samsapur police station Kila Parikshit Garh, Meerut.

The DCP said that these four thugs were roaming around the nearby area for several days in the guise of sadhus. Yesterday these people fed a man a drug in the form of prasad due to which the man became unconscious. After this, these four stole goods from his shop. Today again when they went out to commit fraud, the local people caught them and beat them up. After this, the police immediately reached there and arrested them. A case has been registered against these four. The police is currently investigating whether they have any old criminal record or not, on that basis further action will be taken against them.
