Police arrested 6 people while having a liquor party at a family restaurant in Barah area of Patna district of Bihar. All the people came to celebrate the birthday party. The police have sealed the restaurant. Beer and liquor bottles were also found during the raid.
CO Narendra Kumar Singh said that liquor party was running in Roti Boti Family Restaurant since last evening. Police got intelligence. On this basis, the team conducted raids. Six people were arrested from the spot. The hotel manager is currently absconding.

Six people were arrested by the police for drinking alcohol at the birthday party at Roti Boti Family Restaurant located near NH-31 under Barah police station in Patna. A bottle of liquor was found at the scene. At the same time, the restaurant has been sealed in the presence of CO. It is being told that the birthday party was being celebrated there since evening. SHO Arun Kumar Singh said that it was reported late at night that some people are having liquor party in Roti Boti Family Restaurant. Police officers immediately reached the spot and conducted raids. Despite a complete ban on liquor in Bihar, hotel operators were serving liquor in their commercial establishments, due to which the hotel has also been sealed. He also said that immediate action is being taken on receiving information about illegal activities in any hotel in the police station area.
