New Delhi. The country is celebrating the 76th anniversary of independence today. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi hoisted the flag at the Red Fort. He then addressed the nation. From the ramparts of the Red Fort, Modi asked the country to take 5 resolutions on this occasion. He said that now the country will run with a big resolve and that big resolution is a developed India and nothing less should be done. The second vow is that if there is even a part of slavery inside our mind in any corner, it should not be allowed to escape under any circumstances. The third vow is that we should be proud of our heritage. The fourth vow is unity and solidarity and the fifth vow is the duty of the citizens, in this even the Prime Minister is not out, the President is not out and the Chief Minister is also not out.
PM Modi said that after so many decades of independence, the attitude of the whole world towards India has changed. The world is looking at India with pride and expectation. The world has started finding solutions to the problems on the soil of India. He said that for the coming 25 years, we have to concentrate our power on those Panch Prana. In the year 2047, when there will be 100 years of independence, the responsibility of fulfilling all the dreams of freedom lovers will have to be taken up. Modi said that experience says that once we all walk with determination, we cross the set goals. For the coming 25 years, we have to focus our strength, resolve and potential on ‘Panch Prana’.
Modi also appeared emotional on this occasion. He said that the country will not accept the humiliation of women. We are the people who see Shiva in the soul. We are the people who see Narayan in the male. We are those people who call women as Narayani. We are the people who see God in the plant. We are those people who consider the river as their mother. We are those people who see Shankar in pebbles. Modi said that now the country will run with a big resolve, and that big resolution is a developed India and nothing less should be done. If there is even a trace of slavery in our mind, it should not be allowed to escape under any circumstances.
