Dholpur As per the special campaign being conducted against adulteration of harmful chemicals in fruits and vegetables as per the instructions of the Food Safety Commissioner, the fruits were inspected by inspecting establishments in the Dholpur Sabzi Mandi campus on Sunday. Samples of seasonal fruits were taken during the investigation. Food Safety Officer Padam Singh Parmar said that ripening of fruits from calcium carbide is banned under the Food Security Standards Act. During the action, a total of 8 samples of fruits were taken from various establishments located in Mandi campus. These samples will be sent to the laboratory, where colors, artificial sweetness and other potential harmful chemicals will be examined. The Food Safety Officer said that this type of action will continue continuously, so that the common man can get safe and pure food items. At the same time, traders were also warned that strict action would be taken if any type of adulteration is found.
