In Sultanpur of Industrial Police Station area of Hajipur, the DJ of the Kanwariyas touched the 11000 volt high tension power line. This caused electric shock. 8 Kanwariyas died on the spot due to electric shock. 1 more died later. Many more people have been badly burnt due to electric shock. In such a situation the number of deaths may increase. SDPO of Hajipur Sadar, Omprakash told the media that the Kanwariyas had installed a DJ on a high vehicle. The DJ touched the high tension line and this tragic accident happened.

According to the information, the Kanwariyas of Sultanpur were going to take water from Pahelaja Ghat while playing DJ. These people were going dancing on loud music. At that time, the DJ touched the high tension electric wire. As soon as the DJ touched, the current from the high tension line passed through the entire vehicle. As soon as the current passed through the vehicle, there was a lot of screaming. The people in the vehicle died and got burnt due to the electric current. The people burnt by the current of the high tension line were admitted to the hospital. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started the rescue work. After the accident, the question is that why was the DJ made so high and why was no attempt made to stop it at the spot before?
According to the police, Dharmendra Paswan, Raja Kumar, Naveen Kumar Paswan, Amresh Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Kalu Kumar Paswan, Ashi Kumar Paswan, Chandan Kumar Paswan and Amod Kumar have lost their lives in the accident in Sultanpur. 3 other people are undergoing treatment. The families of the dead and injured are in mourning.
