Dr. Nityanand Tripathi Dr. Nityanand Tripathi said that it is very rare to get a stroke due to a hickey or love bite, but if the love bite is taken in a very dangerous way, then it can happen. Dr. Nityanand Tripathi said that there is one carotid artery on each side of our neck which supplies blood to the brain. However, it is very deep inside the muscles, so its damage or internal injury is very rare. But if someone takes a deep love bite very forcefully and due to that the carotid arteries get blocked or damaged from inside due to which there is internal bleeding, then the blood supply to the brain may stop. This can cause a stroke due to a clot. In this case, it seems that this is what must have happened. The girl must have taken a deep love bite. In this, due to biting very forcefully or with teeth, the carotid arteries must have been damaged from inside and due to this a stroke must have occurred.

Stroke in this condition
On the other hand, if someone knows about it and intentionally cuts or closes the carotid arteries, it causes a clot in the arteries which can lead to a stroke. On the other hand, if people who are very thin and have carotid arteries protruding out of their neck are pressed hard, then in this case the carotid arteries can easily close. Then, due to the closure of the arteries of such a person, the supply of oxygen to the brain can stop which can lead to a stroke. However, both these types of cases are very rare. Therefore, there is no need to panic about this incident but it is important to be cautious.

Dr. Nityanand Tripathi He told that stroke due to love bite is very rare. So it is not likely that it happens to everyone. Still, caution is necessary. Usually people are advised to take soft love bites. It should not be too deep. Usually we recommend superficial love bites. Do not press the neck for a long time. Also, do not bite with teeth. Always take soft bites. There should not be overactivity in love bites. If the carotid arteries are visible from above, then do not take love bites at that place.
