Afghanistan vs South Africa ODI Series: The South African team made it to the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. But the team had to face defeat by 7 runs against India in the final. South Africa has performed well in the world of cricket for some time now. Now there will be a three-match ODI series between South Africa and Afghanistan in Sharjah from September 18. Both the matches were held in the ODI World Cup. One in 2019 and the other in 2023. Both the teams recently clashed in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2024, then the African team won.

Afghanistan Cricket Board chairman Mirwaiz Ashraf said that these matches were not initially part of our FTP. Based on our discussions with our counterparts at Cricket South Africa, we concluded that we will host South Africa for the ODI series in September.
