Punjab Man Shot Dead In Canada: A 28-year-old Indian-origin man has been shot dead in Canada’s British Columbia province. Police informed that four people have been arrested in connection with the case. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police unit, which investigates murder cases, has identified the victim as Yuvraj Goyal. It said that when the police reached the spot on Friday morning after receiving information about the shooting in Surrey, they found Goyal’s body there.

Global News quoted the deceased’s sister Charu Singla as saying that her brother worked in a car showroom in Surrey. She said that the family does not know why Yuvrat was killed. Goyal’s sister’s husband Bavandeep said that just before being shot, Yuvraj was talking on the phone to his mother living in India. Bavandeep said, “He came back from the gym and as soon as he got out of his car, he was shot.”

The Royal Canadian Police said that the motive behind the murder of the prince is being investigated. The four suspects arrested by the police are Manveer Basram (23), Sahib Basra (20), Harkirat Jhutti (23) and Keilan Francois (20). All of them have been charged with murder. Initial investigation into the case has revealed that the shooting was targeted, although the reasons behind the murder of the prince are still being investigated.
