In Nagaur city, the Kotwali police, while taking major action late on Sunday night, arrested a vicious crook involved in the incidents of petrol pump robbery at Gurla Charasta. The accused has been identified as Manish Bhakal (23) son Padmaram Bhakal resident Budsu, District Didwana-Kuchaman. In the police interrogation, the accused made several sensational revelations including robbery incidents at more than four petrol pumps in Churu and Bikaner districts. Along with this, a case has also been registered against the accused for seducing the minor girl in a love trap.
Action on informant information
According to the information, late Saturday night, the Kotwali police station received information from the informer that a suspect was roaming near Gurla intersection. On the basis of information, the police reached the spot and took Manish into custody. Due to suspicion, when he was intensively questioned in the police station, he confessed to being a fugitive and also spewed the secrets of many big incidents.
He was committing a crime using an online rented car.
In the information given to the police, Manish said that he used to hire an online vehicle to rob a petrol pump. He then attacked petrol pumps with his colleagues at night. Using weapons and sticks, he tried to rob cash from petrol pump. He has confessed to carrying out the incidents of petrol pump robbery in Jasrasar police station area of Nokha and Sendwa police station area of Churu.
The minor was seduced and taken with him.
Accused Manish also told the police that he implicated a minor girl from Gachhipura police station area in a love trap and promised to marry her. Although the girl was later released, he himself escaped and hid in Pali district.
