Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday strongly targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Thackeray said that he has a disease which cannot be cured. He said the saffron party was accusing him of corruption while the government was doing its job. “After COVID-19, some people got a new disease for which there is no cure. They don’t do any work and when we do, they hold us responsible for corruption,” Thackeray said.
CM Thackeray said that he claims he has done the work. At the same time, Mumbaikars saw how BJP did not care for the environment and cut trees. Thackeray also questioned the Centre’s intention behind the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project. He said that information should be given about the benefits of the project.
‘Run bullet train from Mumbai to Nagpur’
The Chief Minister said that I am ready to give credit to those who ask for credit of Metro. But like the metro, there is a bullet train project. They need a place in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. After all, what will be the benefit of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train? Thackeray said, “If you want to take credit, do some work. The work he started was carried forward from our side. We didn’t stop it. If we have to run a bullet train, then first from Mumbai instead of Ahmedabad. , drive it from Mumbai to Nagpur.”
