Mumbai . A 50 -year -old man hit a 50 -year -old man in a road accident in Jogeshwari area of ​​Mumbai on Friday. According to the information received, a person named Moruchand Bhagwandas Maurya was going on the road, when a high speed bike hit him and the bike driver escaped from the spot.

According to local people, the collision was so fast that Maurya was seriously injured. After the accident, the people present nearby immediately helped him and admitted him to the nearest hospital. His treatment has been started in the hospital, and at present his condition is said to be serious. Doctors are constantly monitoring their condition.

After the incident, the local Oshiwara police immediately reached the spot and started investigating the case. Police officials said a case has been registered against the unknown bike driver in this regard under Section 125 (B), 281 and Section 134 (A), 134 (A), 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. The police have started the work of investigating the footage of CCTV cameras installed near the scene, so that the bike driver can be identified and help in catching him.

Police said that the bike driver escaped from the spot after hitting, and the police is now making every effort to catch him. Police officials say other evidence will also be collected during the investigation, and the accused will be arrested as soon as he is identified. Officials also informed that in view of the seriousness of the case, the police has taken the matter on priority and strict action will be taken against the accused.
