Durg. A strange incident happened with a woman travelling from Delhi to Chhattisgarh in a train. She told that while she was sleeping in the AC compartment, the army jawan sleeping on the berth above her urinated. She immediately informed her husband about this, after which he complained about it to the railway helpline and RPF, but could not get any help. Expressing disappointment over the inaction of the railway, the woman has lodged an online complaint with the PMO and the Railway Minister. At the same time, RPF has also responded to the woman’s complaint.
The woman told that she was travelling from Delhi’s Nizamuddin station to Chhattisgarh’s Durg by Gondwana Express. She was sleeping with her 7-year-old son on middle berth number 23 in the B-9 coach of the train. An army soldier in a drunken state was sleeping on the berth above her. While she was sleeping, the soldier in a drunken state urinated on his berth. Unfortunately, the urine fell on the woman’s berth. The woman immediately informed her husband Himachal Singh, who immediately lodged a complaint on the railway helpline.
The woman said that despite the complaint, there was no response from the Railway Protection Force (RPF). On reaching Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, the RPF officials ignored the woman’s complaint and left without taking any action. After this, a joint team of RPF, Government Railway Police (GRP) and MCAO personnel boarded the train in Jhansi and assured that further action would be taken at Lalitpur, though they did not take any action against the soldier.
RPF in-charge officer Sanjay Arya confirmed the truth of the incident. He also told that the soldier was in a drunken state and his pants were wet. He said that when we reached for action, the woman was not found on her seat, so action could not be taken against that soldier. At the same time, the woman has expressed disappointment over the inaction of RPF. She has lodged an online complaint with the PMO and the Railway Minister.
