A very shocking incident has come to light in a famous coffee outlet of Bangalore, which has caused a lot of concern among women. Actually, when a woman went to the washroom, she was shocked to see the dustbin kept there. A mobile phone was kept inside that dustbin, which was recording a video for about two hours. This incident happened at the Third Wave Coffee outlet located on Bell Road. An employee here has been arrested for hiding the phone in the ladies washroom.
An Instagram handle named ‘Gangs of Cinepur’ posted a story in which a user told about this incident. In this story, it was written, ‘I was at a Third Wave Coffee outlet in Bangalore… a woman found a phone in the dustbin in the washroom, which was recording a video for about 2 hours. The camera was facing the toilet seat. The phone was on flight mode, so that no phone calls would come.’
The camera was hidden very carefully in the dustbin
The user further said that the phone was hidden in such a way that only the camera was visible. He said, ‘The phone was carefully hidden in the dustbin. A hole was made in the dustbin so that only the camera could be seen. It was soon discovered that the phone belonged to a man working there.’
This user appealed to all people to be careful while using public toilets. She wrote, ‘This was very horrifying to see. Now I will be careful while using any washroom, no matter how famous the cafe or restaurant is. I request all of you to do the same. This is very disgusting.’

When the woman showed the phone kept in the dustbin to the cafe staff, the staff immediately recognized it. This phone turned out to be of an employee of the coffee house itself. The police was immediately informed about the incident, who have arrested the accused.
The coffee outlet fired the accused from his job
Third Wave Coffee expressed regret over the incident and said, ‘We regret this incident that happened at our Bell Road outlet in Bengaluru. Such an act will not be tolerated at Third Wave Coffee at all.’
The coffee chain, which has outlets in several cities across the country, said, “We have immediately fired the person and ensured the safety of our customers.”
The police said that the accused has been arrested under the IT Act. The accused is 20 years old and hails from Bhadravati in Karnataka.
