In Gogunda police station area of the district, a young man died after falling into a well. The body was recovered at around 12 pm after a day -long rescue operation.
According to the information received, Khumaji Gameti son Khumani Lal went to feed the goat outside Rawalia Khurd village in Gogunda police station area on Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, his leg slipped and he fell into the well. After the incident, the villagers started trying to get him out, but they failed till 9 pm. After this, information was given to the Gogunda police station.
Information was given to Udaipur Civil Defense Team from Gogunda police station at 10 pm. The team of civil defense reached the spot at eleven and a half at night and started a rescue operation under the leadership of divers Vipul Chaudhary and Bhavani Shankar Valmiki. After half an hour of hard work, the team took out the body of the young man from the well and handed over to the police. Police has kept the body in the hospital morgue, where the body will be handed over to the family members after the post -mortem on Wednesday.
After this incident, a wave of mourning has run in the entire village. The police have registered a case and started investigation. Team members Vijay Naqwal, Manoj GC and driver Kailash Menaria were also present in the rescue operation.
