Earlier after the assembly election results, Vij took a dig at AAP, saying that the party has mastered the art of selling liquor on the streets of Delhi and it was appreciated by the people of Punjab as there is a huge smuggling of drugs in the state. is business. The AAP has won 92 seats in the 117-member Punjab Assembly, beating the Congress and the SAD-BSP alliance. On the other hand, Congress has got 18, SAD 3, BJP 2 and one seat each for BSP and Independents.
Anna Hazare along with Arvind Kejriwal and others started the India Against Corruption (IAC) movement in 2011. Later in November 2012, Kejriwal and his associates founded the party and contested the Delhi Assembly elections.
