new Delhi. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is working tirelessly at the grassroots level for the next assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, which will be held later this year. Talking to -AnyTV News, Rajya Sabha member from AAP ND Gupta told. “We are hopeful that people will bless us like in Punjab,” Gupta said.
In an interview with -AnyTV News, Gupta said that AAP is the first regional party in India to have won outside the home state. “It is not just a victory, but more than the thumping majority with which the people of Punjab have blessed us,” Gupta said.
The people of Punjab have voted for Arvind Kejriwal, who does not even belong to that state. Gupta said that this victory is a testimony to the Delhi model, which we want to implement in every state.”
Asked about the party’s future plans for other states, Gupta said AAP is working for Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat assembly elections. He said that the people of these two states will vote for the Delhi model. “Though Haryana assembly elections are two and a half years away, we have already registered a strong presence in the state,” the AAP Rajya Sabha member said.
On AAP’s plan for the 2024 general elections, Gupta said that of course the party will contest the elections, but the main focus is being given on the state assembly elections. “We are ready to do a clean sweep whenever elections are held in Delhi in the MCD elections,” Gupta said.
