During this, Revanth Reddy gave information about the leaders of South India involved in the race for the post of PM. Answering a question, he said that from the Prime Minister to the Defense Minister and the Home Minister, all the portfolios are occupied by the people of the North.

Responding to this, CM Revanth Reddy said that ‘Mallikarjun Kharge ji is the Congress President from Karnataka, K. from Kerala. C. Venugopal is the General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi is representing from South. In the coming days, someone from the South can become Prime Minister.
When he was told that those who left the Congress were saying that the South lobby has taken over the party, he started targeting the BJP in response to this. CM Revanth Reddy said that ‘they have 42 MPs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and the cabinet minister is only one, Kishan Reddy ji. Gujarat has 26 MPs and 7 cabinet ministers from there. He has 62 MPs from UP and 12 cabinet ministers. CM Revanth Reddy further said that ‘From Prime Minister to Defense Minister and Home Minister, all the portfolios are held by the people of the North. The Prime Minister, Vice President, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha are all from North India. Are we not part of this country? Is South India not in India?
