AAP leaders go to BJP immoral, Nishikant's statement communal: Sandeep Dixit

New Delhi. Congress leader Sandeep Dixit on Monday termed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as immoral. He also questioned the functioning of the Election Commission and the communal statements of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. In a conversation with , Dixit said that ‘AAP’ has an atmosphere of instability and at such a time it is wrong to leave the party and go to the BJP. Said, “You have a kind of chaos. Leaders are joining BJP. When the party is in trouble, it is immoral. I do not consider it right.”
He described this move of AAP leaders against morality and said that this step breaks the morale of party workers.
Questioning the fairness of the Election Commission, Dixit said that recent elections have seen an unusual increase in votes, which mostly goes in favor of BJP.
He said, “There are questions in the minds of the people as to how the sudden votes increase and why all these votes go to the BJP’s account? For the last three-four years, there is a discussion that an institution is helping a particular party.”
He targeted the Election Commission without naming and said that these facts themselves raise questions.
Dixit also objected to the recent statements of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey. He said that Nishikant’s statements are promoting tension and communalism between Hindu-Muslim, which is unacceptable.
Dixit said, “Nishikant is making dangerous statements. They are trying to spread communalism. How the government sees it depends on it, but it cannot be tolerated.”
Dixit appealed to the central government to curb leaders like Nishikant. He said that it is the responsibility of the government to maintain communal harmony and it can be dangerous to ignore such statements. The Congress leader insisted that all parties should work responsibly for the unity and integrity of the country.
