New Delhi. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had arrived to take stock of the construction works of the new Parliament building. During this, Prime Minister Modi unveiled the 20 feet high national emblem Ashoka Pillar on the roof of the new Parliament building after reciting worship and Vedic chants. The national emblem is made of bronze metal with a total weight of 9,500 kg and its height is 6.5 meters. During this, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Union Minister Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi were also present with him. After this, PM Modi also interacted with the workers engaged in the construction of the new Parliament building. At the same time, after PM Modi unveiled the giant national emblem Ashoka Pillar in the new building of Parliament, politics has also started on it. Questions are being raised from the opposition side regarding this. On one hand, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi termed the unveiling of Ashoka Pillar by PM Modi as a violation of constitutional norms. At the same time, the Congress party is upset that why the opposition parties were not invited to the program.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) even accused the government of changing the Ashoka Pillar i.e. the national symbol. This allegation has been made by AAP MP Sanjay Singh. Shortly after Sanjay Singh made these allegations, the BJP also did not miss an opportunity to retaliate. BJP leader Kapil Mishra stopped speaking to Sanjay Singh while replying to him. Kapil Mishra tweeted and wrote, “Sanjay Singh ji, don’t tweet after drinking Bhagwant Mann ji’s medicine, you can’t bear it by calling the lion of Ashok symbol a man eater, you are only making Kejriwal of your remaining respect.”

By calling the lion of Ashoka symbol a man eater, you are only making Kejriwal of your remaining respect. https://t.co/5wtc7MTgQ9
