New Delhi. Following the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 night, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday announced nationwide protests, including at the BJP headquarters. AAP leaders have appealed to political parties of the Indian National Congress to join the protest.
In response to AAP’s appeal against the arrest of CM Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Police has closed all the routes leading to the AAP office. As part of the security measures, barricades have been installed on all sides of the roads leading to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, and heavy deployment of paramilitary forces in areas like ITO, Deen Dayal Marg and several other places.
Roads from ITO to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg closed.
A short while ago, three buses filled with paramilitary forces went inside.

On the other hand, AAP leaders and workers will gather at the party headquarters at 10 am on Friday to chalk out a strategy for the protest. After this, AAP leaders will march to BJP headquarters to hold a massive protest. There is deep dissatisfaction among AAP supporters against the action of the Enforcement Directorate, they allege that BJP has got CM Arvind Kejriwal arrested. The party workers pledged to continue their campaign against the dictatorial policies of the central government until his release.
