Abu Azmi raised questions on 'Udaipur files', said- film should not be released

New Delhi/Mumbai. Controversy over the film ‘Udaipur Files’ based on Kanhaiya Lal murder case has started increasing. Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi on Wednesday questioned the film. He demanded a ban on release, saying that such films create hatred among communities. Samajwadi Party’s Maharashtra unit president Abu Azmi was talking to the media in Mumbai on Wednesday. Journalists questioned Abu Azmi on the film ‘Udaipur Files’. Responding to this, he said, “Such films should not be released, which create hatred between two communities.”
He demanded, “If the film has been passed by the censor board, then the government can stop the film by looking at the law and order.”
Abu Azmi said, “We have to end hatred. It is true that a teller was killed in Udaipur. It was a very disgusting incident.”
However, the SP leader blamed Nupur Sharma for the Udaipur incident. He said, “The statement made by Nupur Sharma, there were many cases against him. I think this happened because of this.”
Abu Azmi said, “There is a ruckus in the country due to the people who talk about hate and people who talk against any religion. I have repeatedly said that such a film should not come, which causes hatred between two communities. This film should also be stopped.”
The court door has also been knocked on the demand for a ban on the film ‘Udaipur Files’. Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in Delhi High Court, has challenged the release of ‘Udaipur files’. The High Court heard the petition on Wednesday. The court suggested that a special screening of the film should be done for the petitioner’s counsel. On Thursday, the Delhi High Court will again hear the matter.
