Jaipur/Banswara. The Rajasthan Anti -Corruption Bureau (ACB) team on Saturday raided various locations of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) under the “Operation Bekhoff” while conducting a major campaign against corruption. More than two dozen teams led by Investigating Officer Parameshwaralal, Deputy Superintendent Police (ACB, Bhiwadi) took action in several districts including Jaipur City, Pavta Kotputli, Maujmabad, Udaipur, Ajmer, Tonk and Banswara. About 250 ACB officers and employees were involved in this operation.
54 immovable properties, mineral lease and farmhouse
According to ACB, 19 immovable properties have been revealed in the name of suspected officer Ashok Jangid, 3 of his wife and 32 properties in the name of son Nikhil Jangid. These properties are spread in many districts including Jaipur, Pavta, Srimadhopur, Jaisalmer, Ajmer, Tonk, Udaipur.
These include houses in Jaipur, farmhouses in Pavta, shops in Banipark and Bindayaka, mineral lease, commercial land, mineral grinding industry. In the name of Nikhil Jangid, 5 mineral leases have also been revealed in Udaipur, Malpura, Ajmer, Buchara Pavta. Among them, there has been confirmation of machinery worth crores of rupees and investment in mining work.
The expenditure on bank accounts and education has also been revealed in the surroundings of investigation that the family’s name has a deposit of 21 lakh rupees in a total of 22 bank accounts. At the same time, spending about 30 lakh rupees on children’s schooling, coaching and higher education has also been revealed.

What did ACB officials say
According to sources, the action is still going on and the seized documents, documents of assets, records related to transactions and mineral lease related documents are being investigated. According to ACB, further legal action will be taken in the case soon.
ACB’s message: Zero tolerance against corruption
Through “Operation Bekhoff”, ACB has once again conveyed that corruption in state service will not be tolerated at any level. The general public needs transparency and honest working systems and this direction seems to be determined by such operations.
