Nashik. A painful accident has happened in Nashik, Maharashtra. Here the bus collided with the container. After the collision, the bus caught fire. Passengers got trapped in the fire. In this, 11 people including a child have been reported to have died so far. 21 passengers have been injured in the accident. The accident happened on the Aurangabad-Nashik road in the early hours of Saturday. According to the police, the scorched passengers have been admitted to the hospital. Many of them are in serious condition. This may increase the death toll. According to officials, the bus turned into a ball of fire after the accident at 5 am. The fire brigade extinguished the fire with great difficulty.
Dada Bhuse, the minister in charge of Nashik in the Maharashtra government, said that the bus victim of the accident was coming from Yavatmal to Mumbai. Whereas, the container truck was going from Pune to Nashik. According to Dada Bhuse, all the injured are undergoing treatment in Nashik. He told that the Maharashtra government will bear all the cost of treatment. The minister said that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has announced an assistance of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the deceased in the accident. Dada Bhuse himself has gone to the site of the accident.
