Accused arrested in case of raping a minor, sent to judicial custody

Chhapra. On September 25, Chhapra Mahila police station received information about the incident of rape of a minor girl in JD Public School under Bhagwan Bazar police station. In this case, an FIR was lodged on the basis of the written application of the victim’s family, Pooja Kumari, father Ramjit Shah, resident Shyam Chak, police station Bhagwan Bazar, district Saran. The names of Pappu Kumar alias Shivmohan Singh and school director PV Singh have come up among the accused.

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police took immediate action and registered a case under Case No. 65/24 Section 65/2/3Bn S 3/2 Scheduled Caste Tribe Act and a special team was formed for investigation. During the investigation, the main accused Pappu Kumar was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Also, raids are going on to arrest other accused.

Saran SP Dr. Kumar Ashish informed in the press conference that Rakesh Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters, Raj Kishore Singh, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Sadar, Chhapra Police Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, and other policemen played an active role in the investigation of the case.
