Tonk (Pachevar). In the district’s Pachewar police station area of the district, the police have arrested the accused in a serious case of kidnapping and molestation of a minor girl. The case is on the night of 10 April 2025, when the victim went out for defecation and was kidnapped only then.
The victim’s aunt lodged a case at Pachewar police station on 15 April. He told that his niece had left the house for defecation, when the young man of the village Ramakalyan son Ghasi seduced him and took him in a trolley. The family members searched a lot in the surrounding areas, but nothing of the girl was found.
Police officer Mukesh Chaudhary formed a special team in view of the seriousness of the case. With the help of technical evidence, the police started searching for the accused and finally the accused was detained on 20 May 2026. He was arrested after accepting the crime during interrogation.
The accused is 23 years old and is a resident of Pachewar, District Tonk. A case has been registered against him under the case number 88/2025 under Section 137 (2) of the Code of Justice of India (BNS). Police say the investigation is still going on and other aspects related to the case are also being investigated.
According to police sources, there was no already acquaintance between the accused and the victim, and it could be a planned offense. At the same time, the victim has been sent to the district hospital for medical examination, where her counseling is also being done.
This incident has raised many questions about security in the area, especially about the safety of minor girls and lack of awareness in villages. The villagers have demanded that strict action should be taken in such cases so that no innocent is victims of such an incident again.
