Our army is fully prepared on the border so that Pakistan does not dare to do anything after operation vermilion. At the same time, the administration is also engaged in making necessary preparations in view of emergency in the state. Keeping in mind the current situation, the state home department has issued guidelines to all district collectors and magistrates.
Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Anand Kumar has issued guidelines to provide all kinds of necessary life saving medicines in all hospitals, presence of doctors along with staff and providing adequate blood to all groups in the blood bank. Along with this, instructions have also been given to ensure the availability of generators in identified hospitals and schools, where temporary hospitals and housing can be arranged for the people.
The police administration and cyber cell have been asked to keep a close watch on social media and take immediate legal action against the country on inflammatory posts or materials, so that the atmosphere in the state does not deteriorate.
The District Collector has been instructed to ensure that adequate supply of food items is available in the district in emergency. Make people aware so that they do not store food grains and other essential items unnecessarily.
The Department of Public Health and Engineering will ensure that the entire supply of drinking water is available to the general public in an emergency.
The divisional commissioners of the border districts, the superintendents of police, district collectors and district police superintendents have been asked to keep in constant contact with the officers of the concerned Army and other central agencies so that any action can be taken with mutual coordination.
Along with this, the villages adjacent to the border have also been asked to keep their exit plan ready to deal with the emergency. Instructions have been instructed to update the list of most sensitive places in the border districts and to ensure complete security arrangements of hospitals, power plants, oil and gas depots/pipelines, religious places and to provide complete information about the arrangements being made by the state government at the panchayat and village level so that the general public can be assured that the state government is with them during the crisis.
In the instructions issued by the Chief Secretary, it has also been said that fire fighting services should be kept active in the districts, communication services should be kept smooth in the districts and public address systems should be available in adequate number of working conditions. The mock drill of the Disaster Management Scheme in the district should be organized from time to time and the participation of NGOs, National Services Scheme, National Cadet Corps should be ensured in the event of disaster.
