Jaipur. Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge) Gautam Kumar Dak has given instructions to ensure adequate storage system in view of mustard and gram procurement at the support price. He said that efforts should be made to complete the process before April 10.
He was presiding over a high level meeting held in this regard at Apex Bank on Thursday. He said that this time the support price is attractive than the market price, mustard and gram is likely to be more inward at the procurement centers. The state government is also committed to meeting the purchase targets. Therefore, keeping this in mind, adequate arrangements should be made for storage of the produce purchased. Private warehouses should be rented if necessary for this. Also, it should be considered to provide the warehouses of Tilam Sangh and Seed Corporation.
The Cooperative Minister directed the officials of Rajfed to share the district -wise target and route charts for purchase with the officials of Rajasthan State Storage System Corporation and Central Storage Corporation. According to the goals of procurement allotted to the districts, the arrangement of storage should be ensured at nearby places.
The meeting was attended by Sandeep Verma, Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Storage System Corporation, Principal Government Secretary and Registrar of Cooperative Department, Manju Rajpal, Government Secretary of Agriculture and Horticulture Department Rajan Vishal, Rajfed Managing Director Tikamchand Bohra, Central Storage Corporation Regional Manager Prince Kumar and other officials were present.
